Lutheran Health Network KCH Names Employees/Physician Of The Year
WARSAW — Kosciusko Community Hospital has recently recognized the 2016 Employees of the Year and Physician of the Year. This award is the highest honor bestowed on a hospital employee each year. Awardees were chosen from among 920 medical field professionals for this honor.
Congratulations to Dr. Todd Dillon, Physician of the Year; Tammy Johnson, Clinical Manager of the Year; Penny Zorn, Non-Clinical Manager of the Year; and Trista Miller, Employee of the Year.
“Health care requires a special blend of great people skills, tireless energy and the ability to work well under pressure,” says Kirk Ray, Chief Executive Officer. “People who work in healthcare share the common desire to help others and make a difference in people’s lives. It’s a pleasure to recognize our medical professionals for their dedication to our patients and to providing outstanding care.”
Nominations for awards are submitted by hospital peers based on commitment to patient care, professionalism, and contributions on the job.

He is passionate about providing the best clinical care possible for his patients and is known for taking the necessary time to ensure his patients and parents have questions answered and leave understanding their treatment plan. Every day, parents express their appreciation for the exceptional and compassionate care he has provided to their children.
Dr. Dillon has also provided leadership in collaborating with his family practice colleagues to provide newborn care. He has been integral in educating the nursing staff about care for pediatric patients and has been an excellent resource for other physicians. Over the years, Dr. Dillon has actively served on many medical committees for the hospital. He also helped in coordinating and providing kindergarten physicals in partnership with Warsaw Community Schools. KCH has been fortunate to have Dr. Dillon on staff and is appreciative of the care and service he has provided to the community.
“Each of our medical professionals has a specific role in the delivery of quality healthcare to the people who live and work in the Kosciusko community,” said Ray. “Our success in meeting the needs of the patients we serve is dependent on the collective efforts of all employees.”
