Local Volunteer Gives Back To Less Fortunate
WARSAW — Fellowship Missions, Warsaw’s Christian based homeless shelter, operates almost exclusively off of hard working and dedicated volunteers. Betty Trump is one of them.
Trump first started providing one meal a month for Fellowship Missions with her church group three years ago. Now she is providing lunches on a weekly basis. Since October 2016, Betty has been donating her time to serving weekly lunches to the residents at the shelter.
“The Lord had been so good to me and provided so much. I feel that I want, and need, to share with those who are less fortunate,” states Trump.
Trump commented that the people she serves are so gracious and warm. “After I’ve served and people come by with a smile, thanking me for serving. It warms my heart,” says Trump regarding her favorite part of her service.
