Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

3:20 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1, North Detroit Street, north of Lyon Street, Warsaw. Driver: Kimberly J. Ellis, 59, South Bruner Road, Warsaw. Ellis reported a collision with another vehicle; however, the driver of the other vehicle stated there was no damage to his vehicle and left the scene. Damage up to $2,500.

7:03 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1, Robb Road, north of Springhill Road, Warsaw. Driver: Karie A. Hepler, 44, Robb Road, Warsaw. Hepler backed into an unoccupied, parked vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.

Kosciusko

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

7:03 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1, East CR 200S, east of South Parry Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Robert E. Momeyer, 75, William Drive, Winona Lake. Driver struck a deer. Damage up to $2,500.

7:34 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1, North SR 13 and East CR 500N, North Webster. Drivers: Leisa R. Arter, 57, North CR 900E, Pierceton, and Leann Harris, 58, North Sullivan Road, Leesburg. Arter rear-ended Harris’ vehicle, causing Harris’ vehicle to strike a state highway traffic light pole. Damage up to $25,000.

10:47 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1, South Ferguson Road, east of South SR 25, Warsaw. Driver: Ty R. Shepler, 48, South Julian Drive, Warsaw. Driver struck a deer. Damage up to $2,500.

Silver Lake

Officers with the Silver Lake Police Department investigated the following accident:

6:47 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1, South CR 100E, south of East CR 1000S, Silver Lake. Driver: Matthew G. Maher, 30, South CR 100E, Claypool. Maher struck a deer with his vehicle. Damage up to $1,001.
