Warsaw Football: Mevis Makes It Official
WARSAW – Wednesday morning Warsaw Community High School senior star kicker Andrew Mevis made it official, signing his National Letter of Intent to continue his football career with Fordham.
Wednesday is officially dubbed as ‘National Signing Day’, with blogs and news outlets carrying signing day decisions nationwide. Mevis signed with Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) Division I program Fordham University in a ceremony with his family and coaches surrounding him.
Mevis made his verbal decision over the weekend, making it official in the signing ceremony Wednesday at WCHS.
An Under Armour All-American, Mevis was a standout with the Tigers in both football and soccer.
