Officers with the Kosciusko County Police Department investigated the following accidents:
7:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, East US 30, east of CR 250S, Pierceton. Drivers: Katherine E. Bromley, 32, West CR 400, Columbia City, and Jennifer M. Miller, 37, East CR 500N, Kendallville. Bromley rear-ended Miller’s vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
12:46 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, South CR 350E, north of East CR 400S, Warsaw. Driver: Tammy R. Bentley, 40, South Woodland Lane, Warsaw. Bentley was southbound on CR 350E when deer entered the roadway and one of the deer struck Bentley’s vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
2:31 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, South Rosewood Drive, south of South SR 15, Warsaw. Driver: Luke E. Marshall, 17, East CR 450S, Warsaw. Driver lost control of vehicle and struck a utility pole. Damage up to $5,000.
4:02 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, East CR 350N, west of CR 100E, Warsaw. Driver: Kailey M. Ball, 17, EMS B5A Lane, Leesburg. Ball struck a mailbox and a tree. Damage up to $5,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
4:37 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, West Center Street, Warsaw. Driver: Tracy L. Coleman, 44, South Bronson Street, Warsaw. Coleman reported damage to her vehicle while it was parked and unoccupied. Damage up to $2,500.
5:00 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, West CR 300N, Warsaw. Witnesses reported a truck backing out of a parking space in a parking lot and striking an unoccupied, parked vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
Syracuse
Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accident:
4:42 a.m. Friday, Jan. 27, North Syracuse Webster Road, south of CR 1200N, Syracuse. Driver: Jacob J. Sumpter, 21, East C 900N, Syracuse. Sumpter stated he was traveling north on Syracuse Webster Road when a deer entered the roadway, striking the driver side front of the vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
