Lakes Area Players theatrical troupe is holding open auditions for roles in its annual Easter production of “Christ’s Passion.”

Auditions will be held from:

• 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 15.

• 5:30 to 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 16.

• 5:30 to 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 23.

Parts are available for disciples (men and women), Roman soldiers, Pharisees, townspeople, merchants and angels.

For main character speaking parts and solos, please come prepared to sing a song of your choice or one will be provided, plus reading from excerpts of the script.

All who come to the auditions will be a part of the cast.

Also needed are technical crew members for sound, lighting, back stage work, set dressing, costumes and makeup.
Rehearsals will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Mondays beginning Jan. 16.

Performances are scheduled for April 7, 8, 9, 14 and 15.

All rehearsals and performances will be held in the Activities Center at Quaker Haven Camp at Dewart Lake south of Syracuse, at the crossroads of county roads 900N and 500E.
