Officers with the Pierceton Police Department investigated the following accidents:
11:38 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, US 30E and SR 13, Pierceton. Drivers: Jean A. North, 47, Lexington Drive, Winona Lake, and David Gardner, 57, Chamberlin Drive, Hamilon, Ohio. North rear-ended Gardner’s vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
1:34 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, SR 13 and East Market Street, Pierceton. Drivers: Gerald R. Scott, 76, Chadwick Drive, Fort Wayne, and Michael J. Gadus, 32, West 42nd Street, Indianapolis. The vehicles collided at the intersection. Damage up to $2,500.
Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Police Department investigated the following accident:
6:18 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, SR 13 and East CR 200S, Pierceton. Drivers: Dylan J. Sims, 17, South CR 700E, Pierceton, Marsha D. Yocum, 53, East CR 200S, Pierceton, and Alejandra V. Reyes, 28, N. Jefferson Street, Silver Lake. Sims rear-ended Yocum’s vehicle and sideswiped Reyes’ vehicle. Damage up to $25,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:
11:19 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21, North Detroit Street, north of West CR 350N, Warsaw. Drivers: Hannah M. Jarvis, 18, West CR 250S, Warsaw, and Bradley O. Allen, 28, NE 34th Court, Redmond, WA. Jarvis rear-ended Allen’s vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
Marshall
Officers with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:
7:10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21, 100 block Queen Road and US 6, Walkerton. Drivers: Mason Hatfield, 18, Walkerton and Heather Rauen, Walkerton. Rauen was stopping a John Glenn School Corp., school bus on Queen Road, north of US 30, to pick up a student. She activated the amber lights as she was slowing and was about to activate the stop arm when Hatfield’s vehicle struck the back of the bus. There were 15 children on the bus, but no reported injuries. The roadway was slick with backed snow/ice at the time of the collision.
