Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
10:49 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 18, East CR 350N and North Saddlebrook Lane, Warsaw. Driver: Rita M. Baker, 70, Gable Drive, Warsaw. Baker put on her brakes and slid on icy roadway. Her vehicle left the road a struck a REMC utility pole. Damage up to $5,000.
6:25 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 18, North CR 150W, north of West CR 300N, Warsaw. Driver: Kolt I. Derry, 17, East Oldfield Drive, Leesburg. Derry struck a deer. Damage up to $5,000.
8:06 p.m. Monday, Dec. 19, North Syracuse Webster Road and East CR 800N, North Webster. Drivers: Andrew T. Corn, 20, West Emeline Street, Milford, and Benjamin M. Plickerd, 38, East CR 1200N, Syracuse. Corn believed Plickerd had a stop sign and pulled out in front him. Plickerd did not have a stop sign and was struck by Corn. Damage up to $10,000.
3:50 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, North CR 425W and West CR 1000N, Nappanee. Driver: Brian J. Crawford, 31, North SR 19, Etna Green. Crawford’s vehicle slid on ice causing him to leave the roadway and strike a Century Link phone box and a large rock. Damage up to $10,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department Investigated the following accidents:
1:11 p.m. Monday, Dec. 19, Lake City Highway, east of South CR 250E. Drivers: Aja West, 23, Woodworth Place, Hazel Crest, Ill., and Christopher C. Cornelius, 23, North Franklin Road, Indianapolis. West did not see Cornelius in the other lane and merged into his passenger side. Damage up to $5,000.
7:04 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, Lake City Highway, east of East Old Road 30, Warsaw. Driver: Unknown and Nathan W. Long, 30, Briar Ridge Circle, Warsaw. An unknown vehicle side swiped Long’s passenger side. Damage up to $5,000.
