WARSAW – For the second straight year, the Lake City Roller Dolls used part of the holiday spirit to help those in need in the Warsaw area.

The Dolls stuffed purses this past weekend, to be distributed to women in local shelters in need. The purses were stuffed full of hats, gloves, hygiene items and other useful products that can be directly used.

“During the holiday season, the Lake City Roller Dolls team is happy to provide some comforts to other local women who are experiencing a difficult time,” said Bobbie Tevis. “Lake City Roller Dolls roller derby promotes a sense of community, empowerment and charitable causes on the local level.”
