Impending Weather Prompts Movement – UPDATED
Plans for inclement weather on Saturday has forced the hand of athletic directors around northern Indiana to make some moves involving planned sports events. We’ll update this list as information comes in on postponements and cancellations.
Updated Saturday afternoon
• The Bethany Christian girls and boys basketball tournament was called off, and likely will not be rescheduled. LCA’s teams were both part of the tournament brackets.
• The Warsaw at Crown Point boys basketball game Saturday night has been postponed. A make-up date was not immediately announced.
• The Tippecanoe Valley at Whitko girls basketball game has been postponed due to road conditions around Whitko. A make-up date will be announced as soon as possible.
• The Wawasee-Warsaw girls basketball at Knightstown has been postponed due to road conditions. A make-up date at the Hoosier Gym is likely, but was not immediately announced.
• The Triton-Pioneer girls basketball game at Triton has been postponed to Jan. 26, a start time of 6 p.m.
• The Manchester-Leo boys basketball game at Manchester has been cancelled and will not be made up.
• The Zionsville Swim Invitational has been cancelled and will not be made up. Warsaw was one of the participants.
- The Hobart Super Duals wrestling tournament has been cancelled and will not be made up. Goshen was slated to be among the competing teams.
- The LaVille Wrestling Invite has been cancelled and will not be made up. Tippecanoe Valley and Triton were scheduled to compete.
- The Westview Wrestling Invite has been cancelled and will not made up.
