Lakeview Wins Invite Title

WARSAW — Lakeview Tigers seventh grade boys basketball team won the Tiger Invitational Saturday afternoon.
The Tigers won their first game of by defeating East Noble 33-19. Lakeview was lead by Kyle Dawson with 13 points and seven rebounds in that game.
In the championship game Lakeview toppled Maple Creek 54-38. Dawson again led the Tigers, this time with a double-double as he tallied 20 points and 16 rebounds. Judah Simfukwe added 11 points while Michael Ramirez came off the bench and added nine. Jack Fitzgerald had a strong game with eight points and 11 rebounds.
Jack Yeager and Seth Hildebrand were noted for their strong defensive play.
Lakeview now stands at 8-3 on the season.
