Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
9:15 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, North Detroit Street, south of East Canal Street, Warsaw. Driver: Edith Hernandez, 35, East R 200N, Warsaw. Hernandez swerved off of the road way to avoid a vehicle she believed was about to come into her lane, colliding with a stop sign and a fire hydrant. She was cited for no valid license. Damage up to $25,000.
9:49 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, East Fort Wayne Street and North Parker Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Gregory D. French, 22, North CR 750W, Warsaw, and Lori M. Wilson, 25, Oak Glen Drive, Warsaw. French has a learner’s permit; he was stopped waiting to turn onto East Fort Wayne Street when he was advised to go. A vehicle came over the hill and French attempted to back up, backing into Wilson’s vehicle. Damage up to $1,000.
North Webster
Officers with the North Webster Police Department investigated the following accident:
10:09 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, 6772 North SR 13. Drivers: Michael E. Williamson, 66, North CR 700E, Warsaw, and Mary J. Kuhn, 60, East CR 400N, Leesburg. Williamson backed into Kuhn’s vehicle in a parking lot. Damage up to $1,000.
