Wallace M. Correll
Wallace “Wally” M. Correll, 82, passed away at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2016 at Warsaw Meadows Care Center.
He was born June 1, 1934 to Waldon “Bud” and Loa (Pyle) Correll in Warsaw. Wally attended Claypool area schools.
In 1960 he was married to Frances E. Smith. Together the two would share nearly fifty-five years before her passing July 2, 2014.
Wally had worked at Da-Lite screen for many years. He also sang professionally and was a skillful musician, playing both piano and organ. He had an interest in genealogy and history.
Those who survive include his niece, Valarie (Dave) Shull, Syracuse; two nephews, John (Belinda) Lukens, Warsaw; and Scott (Lisa) Lukens, Pierceton; numerous great nieces, great nephews and several cousins.
In addition to his wife, Frances, those who preceded Wally in passing include his parents, Bud and Loa Correll; and a sister, Geneva Ann Lukens.
Friends may join family for a time of visitation and sharing at noon, Thursday, Dec. 1 in Titus Funeral Home, 2000 East Sheridan Street, Warsaw. A funeral service will follow visitation beginning at 1 p.m. in the Funeral Home. Reverend Dave Hummel will officiate.
Burial will be in Warsaw’s Oakwood Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial gifts may be made to a charity of the donors choosing. Alternately, simple acts of kindness may be done for others in Wally’s memory.
