Robinson Retires after 23 years as Kosciusko County Administrator
WARSAW — The focus of a brief county commissioners meeting this morning was on Ron Robinson. Wednesday, Nov. 30 will officially be Robinson’s last day as the Kosciusko County Administrator.
He has held that position since 1994.
Robinson is a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County. Prior to working as the county administrator, he was in law enforcement.
Robinson was chief deputy for 12 years and sheriff for four years.
The other committee members said their good-byes to Robinson, amidst handshakes and congratulations.
Robinson stated that he is “ready to relax and sleep in” as well as work on his honey do list.
Other items addressed:
- Scott Tilden presented the annual county highway supply bids for 2017 and recommended that the bids be accepted as presented.
- Dan Richard, Kosciusko County area planning director, made a recommendation to allow the vacation of a partial alley and street in the community of Wooster.
- The next regular meeting for Kosciusko County Commissioners will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 13.
