Charles F. ‘Chuck’ Noland
Charles F. “Chuck” Noland, 72, Wabash, died at 12:07 p.m., Monday, Nov. 7, 2016, at Parkview Wabash Hospital.
He was born Feb. 7, 1944 in Howard County, Minn. to Clifford and Helen (Otto) Noland.
Chuck married Beverly Stambaugh, and she preceded him in death Sept. 11, 2000. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a retired truck driver. He enjoyed fishing, was an avid Oakland Raiders fan, and especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by two children, Rita (William) Hawk and Jeff (Tammy) Noland, both of Elwood; eight grandchildren: Rachael Edwards, Fortville; Jeffrey (Kristen) Noland, Deota Vest and Devon Hopkins, all of Elwood; Dave (Jay) Kemmer of Daleville, Adrianna Dollar, Sailor Hawk, and Billie Hawk, all of Elwoo; eight great grandchildren; two sisters: Linda (Theodore) Dill and Delores Noland, both of Wabash; two brothers, Dennis Noland of Wabash; and Billy Joe (Linda) Noland of Kokomo; and his special friend, Debbie Gossett of Wabash.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Rev. Troy Trusty officiating. Burial will be in Friends Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call 12:30-2 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.
