Kosciusko County 4-H Starts New Club
KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — Kosciusko County 4-H is hoping to SPARK the interest of area youth through a new special interest opportunity.
4-H SPARK clubs, unlike the traditional year-round programming for members, offer six hour learning events based on specific hands on tasks. Youth in third through 12th grade are invited to attend the Basket Weaving SPARK Club to be held at the Purdue Extension Office in Warsaw from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 19.
Adults are welcome to participate with youth members; registration costs $30/per person and must be paid by Nov. 15 to solidify a spot in the club. You can find more information on the Kosciusko County 4-H Facebook page or by contacting (574) 372-2340.
After completing this learning experience, youth members can choose to continue participating in 4-H opportunities like attending 4-H Camp, completing career exploration on campus at Purdue Round-Up, or delving into science and healthy living workshops.
