Final Trick-or-Treat Times and Halloween Events
The following is a list of trick-or-treat times and Halloween events that Ink Free News has gathered from the community.
AKRON – trick-or-treating hours from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 31.
- The fireman’s costume contest is at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 31 at the fire station, 204 W. Rochester St.
BOURBON – trick-or-treating hours from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 31.
CLAYPOOL – trick-or-treating will be 6 p.m to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31.
CLUNETTE
- On Wednesday, Oct. 26,Clunette United Methodist Church and the Soul Searchers Youth Group will hold their annual trunk-or-treat. Kids of all ages are welcome to dress up an go around the vehicles in the church parking lot collecting candy and goodies from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Then stick around for Soul Searchers Youth Group’s Fall Party from 6:30-8 p.m. with lots of fun games and activities. In the event of rain, the trunk-or-treat will be moved to inside the church.
CROMWELL
- Cromwell’s annual Halloween parade and carnival will be held on Saturday, Oct. 29. The parade will start at 4:30 with judging at the Cromwell Community Center, then continue to the fire station for carnival games until 7 p.m.
ETNA GREEN – trick-or-treating will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31.
LEESBURG – trick-or-treating will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 31.
- Tippy Creek Winery, 5920 North CR 200E, will be hosting a Halloween Bash from 7 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29. Music to dance to, hors d’oeuvres/dinner from King Arthur’s Food Truck and one glass of Witch’s Brew are included with the price of attendance. There will be a prize for best costume.

Calvary Baptist Church of Oswego is hosting a Caribbean Carnival from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29. Kids of all ages are invited to attend. There will be games, prizes, food and surprises. It’s all free. The church located at 3065 E. Armstrong RD. Leesburg. Call the church office at (574) 453-4786 for any questions or more details.
MENTONE – Trick-or-treating will be from 5:30 – 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 31 with costume judging starting at 7 p.m. at the elementary school.
- Goshert Farms Corn Maze, 7132 South CR 1300W, Mentone is open 3 p.m. to dark on Wednesdays and 10 a.m. to dark Thursdays through Saturdays through Oct. 29. Activities include an 8 acre corn maze, hayrides, straw mountain, petting zoo and more.
MILFORD – trick-or-treating will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, Oct. 31.
- Lakeland Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is hosting a free community trick-or-treating event from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct.28
- Wawasee Community Bible Church is hosting their Family Fall Fest from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29. There will be trunk-or-treating, games and free food. The church is located at 2035 E 1300 N, Milford.
- Milford Public Library is having Lights Out at the Library: Happy Hoosier Halloween from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31. The library is trying to set a new record! Children will be given a full-sized candy bar at the end of the 15 minute tour.
NORTH WEBSTER – Trick-or-treating hours in North Webster will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31.
- The Monster Medal Gold Mine Haunted House is sponsored by the North Webster Lions Club & North Webster Boy Scout Troop 726. Come and get a scare each night from 6 until 10 p.m. at the North Webster Mermaid Festival Grounds 410 W Washington St., North Webster. There is a minimal $5 entry fee to tour the Haunted Gold Mine. The Monster Medal Gold Mine will be open on Oct. 28 and 29.

North Webster Church of God is holding its annual Trunk or Treat in the church parking lot from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29. This is a simple way to engage with families in the community along with bringing the church family together. The theme this year is “Star Wars.” To donate candy individually wrapped drop them in the donation bins at the church. No hard candy please. If you would like to host a trunk, table or power wheels then please sign-up in advance.
PIERCETON – trick-or-treating will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 31.
SIDNEY – trick-or-treating will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 31.
SILVER LAKE – trick-or-treating will be 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 31.

The Silver Inn, 105 East Main St, Silver Lake, will be hosting their Annual Halloween Costume Party at 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct 29. 95.9 Kiss Country there and will be featuring the band Gunslinger. There will be no cover charge.
SYRACUSE – trick-or-treating in Syracuse will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 31
- Miller’s Merry Manor in Syracuse will be hosting Trick-or-Treating from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 27.
- Attend the 5th Annual Haunted Thrill at Crosson Mill. This haunted park will be open 7:30 until 10 p.m. on Oct. 28, 29 and 31 for $5 a person. The event is located at Veteran’s Memorial Park at Crosson Mill across from Town Hall on SR 13. This event is not recommended for children under the age of 12. The event is hosted by the Syracuse Parks Department and the Wawasee High School Choir.
- The Lakeland Youth Center’s Free Fall Carnival is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29 at the Syracuse Community Center. The event will include costume contests, games, a bounce house, crafts and lots of candy. The costume contests will begin at 6:30 p.m.
- The Rose Home will be hosting Boo Fest, a trunk-or-treat event from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sunday Oct. 30 at 72876 CR 29, Syracuse. The event will include safe trick-or-treating, face painting, kids crafts and more.

On Saturday, Oct. 29, first head to Syracuse NewMarket where from 2-4 p.m. there will be games, costume contest and trick or treating through the store. And, it is all free.

Syracuse Public Library is hosting the Wonderful World of Disney in the library from 6-8 p.m., Monday, Oct. 31. Stop in the children’s department on the lower level for treats and fun while out trick or treating.
WARSAW – trick-or-treating time will be from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m on Monday, Oct. 31.
- Mason Health and Rehabilitation Center, 900 Provident Driver, Warsaw, is hosting a trunk-or-treat from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 27. There will be candy, snack, treats and more.
- Join Warsaw for the Annual Downtown Warsaw Halloween Spooktacular on Friday, October 28th. Registration for the costume contest will run from 5:30 to 6 p.m., trick-or treating will be from 6 to 7 p.m. and the costume contest will start at 7 p.m. Sponsored by Miller’s Senior Living Community, WCDC, the Warsaw Breakfast Optimist Club, Kosciusko Cares and Bowen Center.
- Soul Takers Acres is a haunted house held at the Kosciusko County Fairgrounds, 1400 East Smith St., Warsaw. The attraction is open starting at 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays in October.

Warsaw Wesleyan Church, 2402 W Old Road 30 Warsaw, is having trunk-n-treat from 4 to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday Oct. 29 in the church parking lot. There will be over 20 trunks alongs with cotton candy, hot cider, popcorn and of course lots of candy.
- Freaky 5K Family Fun Run/Walk on Saturday, Oct. 29th. Registration will run from 7:30 to 9 a.m. with the race beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the K21 Health Pavilion, 1515 Provident Court, Warsaw. A 5K run/walk through the Beyer Farms Greenway behind KCH and back through Warsaw. Souvenir t-shirts are given to all pre-registered participants. The event has a Halloween theme and all participants are encourage to dress in costume.
- Touch of Life Church Trunk or Treat from 3:30 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29 at the church located at Old road 30, just past the second round about.
- Redeemer Lutheran Church, Center St., Warsaw, will have a trunk-or-treat from 5 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29. There will also be games with prizes and free hotdogs.
- Wagon Wheel Center For The Arts will be performing Zombie Night at 2 p.m. on Oct. 29 and 30. The musical plays tribute to classic horror films. Come early to the show and enjoy the Halloween Open House.
WINONA LAKE – trick-or-treating will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., on Monday, Oct. 31.
- Grace College will host its annual Fun Fest event from 6-9 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 28, in the Gordon Recreation Center, 100 Publishers Dr., Winona Lake. The Halloween alternative is free and open to the public. It offers inflatables, face painting, games, food, candy and more. This year, Fun Fest will be themed after Disney’s popular movie, “Zootopia.” Children are invited to wear costumes and come ready for a fun-filled evening.
