Robert Stutzman
Robert Stutzman, 73, Goshen, formerly of Milford and Nappanee, died at 2:08 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 20, 2016 at Goshen General Hospital, where he had been a patient since Sunday.
He was born April 14, 1943 in Gravelton to Alvin and Nettie (Deeter) Stutzman. He graduated from Bethany Christian High School. He lived his lifetime in this area. Robert worked at Choretime for 32 years. He was a member of the North Main Street Mennonite Church in Nappanee for over 65 years. Robert enjoyed going to church, watching horse races at Nappanee Raceway, and watching NorthWood Sports.
Surviving is his sister, Sharon (Jim) Chupp, Dunlap; nephews: Greg Stutzman, Philip Stutzman, Ray Walls, Alford Walls, Mark Chupp, Terry Chupp; nieces: Sonya Stutzman, Charolette Yoder.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Lamar (Ann) Stutzman; sisters, Carol (Alford) Walls.
Family and friends may call from 3-6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 23, at Thompson-Lengacher and Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, and one hour prior to the 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 24 funeral service at North Main Street Mennonite Church, Nappanee. Pastor Ruben Chupp will officiate and burial will be in Salem Mennonite Church Cemetery.
