AT&T Expands Fast 4G Network in Warsaw and Other Areas
WARSAW — AT&T is now covering more Albion, Churubusco, Warsaw and Wolcottville areas with its 4G network. Customers can now get faster internet in more places.
The company has enhanced 5 cell towers in Albion, Churubusco, Warsaw and Wolcottville with extra 4G LTE capacity. This is like adding more lanes to a highway carrying traffic from a customer’s device to the cell tower, resulting in faster speeds and more reliable service. The cell towers are located near:
- E. CR 400N and North Baseline Road, Albion
- CR 900E. and CR 600N, Churubusco
- Durbin Street and Argonne Road, Warsaw
- SR 15 and Poor Drive, Warsaw
- SR 9 and Orange Street, Wolcottville
“Whether you’re visiting our beautiful communities, or doing business here, this technology enhancement is certainly welcome,” said State Rep. David Ober. “Fast internet speeds are important to all that we do, and we appreciate AT&T’s continued investments in Northeast Indiana, and across the state.”
“Our customers are living their lives on the go. We know they rely on mobile internet every day. That’s why we’re extending our 4G network for Albion, Churubusco, Warsaw and Wolcottville residents and businesses,” said Bill Soards, president of AT&T Indiana. “We want to help them get the most out of their mobile devices – whether they’re watching videos, texting, or using social media.”
Earlier this year we launched 4G LTE on 3 cell towers in Noble County, including Wawaka, Albion and Kimmell. The upgrade helps customers get the most out of their mobile devices. Also earlier this year we added capacity, resulting in faster speeds and more reliable service, to 2 cell towers in Noble County (Burr Oak and Wawaka); 3 cell towers in Kosciusko County (Leesburg, Syracuse and Warsaw); and 4 cell towers in Whitley County (Columbia City, east of Columbia City, Larwill, and Tri-Lakes area).
AT&T has invested nearly $2 billion in its wireless and wired networks in Indiana between 2013 through 2015, driving a wide range of upgrades to reliability, coverage, speed and performance for residents and business customers.
