Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
10:08 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14, East CR 250N and Chapman Lake Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Erik W. Reber, 46, East Autumn Trail, Warsaw. Reber struck a deer causing him to go off the roadway and strike a tree. Damage up to $25,000.
7:16 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, West CR 125N and North CR 875W, Etna Green. Driver: David C. Senff, 55, East Dewald Street, Fort Wayne. Senff struck a deer. Damage up to $2,500.
8:12 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, East CR 200N and North CR 100E, Warsaw. Driver: Erika U. Gomora, 26, East Wooster Road, Pierceton. Gomora struck a deer. Damage up to $10,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
11:05 a.m. Friday, Oct. 14, West Main Street and North Lake Street, Warsaw. Driver: Samantha D. Jensen, 21, East Porthcawl Road, Winona Lake. Jensen backed into a parked vehicle while leaving a parking space. Damage up to $1,000.
9:32 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 16, Silveus Crossing, Warsaw. Driver: Derek B. Skadsen, 55, State Highway 73, Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. A tire from Skadsen’s vehicle fell off and caused damage to three vehicles in Medtronic’s parking lot. Damage up to $10,000.
1:17 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 16, West Market Street and South Lake Street, Warsaw. Driver: Carolyn S. Hall, 67, West Prairie Street, Warsaw. An unknown driver collided with Hall’s vehicle when they disregarded a red light. Damage up to $2,500.
Elkhart
Officers with the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:
2:33 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14, SR 15, north of US 6. Driver: Michael Haley, 31, Warsaw. Haley suffered facial injuries and was transported to Goshen Health. Haley was southbound on SR 15 when he fell asleep while driving. His vehicle, a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix, went off the east side of the roadway and struck a tree. He was cited for driving left of center.
