Lindsie Michelle Kaufman, 7, Etna Green, died at 3:35 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, 2016, at Riley Children’s Hospital, Indianapolis, where she had been a patient for three weeks.  Lindsie was born Feb. 12, 2009, in Goshen to Glen and Eunice (Beiler) Kaufman.  She was a first grade student and had attended Triton Elementary.  She attended Nappanee Missionary Church.  She enjoyed bright colors, music, flowers and stuffed animals.

Lindsie is survived by her parents: Glen and Eunice Kaufman; sisters: Ashley; and Katelyn; brothers: Ryan; and Lucas, all at home; grandfather: Enos Kaufman, Etna Green; grandparents: Vernon and Liz Beiler, Paradise, Pa.; great-grandmother: Naomi Beiler, Denver, Pa. She was preceded in death by a sister: Kristyn; and grandmother: Martha Kaufman.

Family and friends may call from 1-8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, at Nappanee Missionary Church Chapel.  Funeral services will begin at 3 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 25, at Nappanee Missionary Church.  Pastor Dave Engbrecht and Pastor Justin Lamason will officiate and burial will be in Fairview Mennonite Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to Memorial Children’s Hospital at South Bend Memorial or to the Ronald McDonald House of Charity.
