Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
6:29 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21, South CR 1000W and West CR 800S, Mentone. Driver: Dylan R. Stimeling, 21, South Maple Street, Akron. Stimeling drifted off the road, over corrected, and slid into a KREMC power pole. Damage up to $25,000.
7:05 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21, South Robinson Lake Road and East Old Road 30, Pierceton. Driver: Ryan M. Baughman, 34, East US Highway 33, Churubusco. Baughman struck a deer. Damage up to $5,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
7:03 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, North Detroit Street and West CR 350N, Warsaw. Drivers: Don R. Padley, 72, Northwest CR 1502, Butler, Mo., and Kirsti A. Kiser, 27, Meadow Ridge Drive, Warsaw. Padley collided with Kiser’s vehicle as Kiser proceeded through the intersection. Damage up to $2,500.
8:51 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, Green Hill Drive and Sharon Street, Warsaw. Driver: Carl E. Wise, 74, Cambridge Drive, Warsaw. Wise struck a parked, unoccupied vehicle when the glare of the sun made it hard to see. Damage up to $25,000.
1:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, Fisher Avenue and Ranch Road, Warsaw. Driver: Sheila A. Busenburg, 71, West Eastbrook Street, Warsaw. Busenberg struck a cinder block that was in the middle of the road. Damage up to $1,000
