UPDATE: Bomb Threat At Concord High School
DUNLAP — Today, Wednesday, Sept. 21, at 8:44 a.m. officers from the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department responded to a bomb threat at the Concord High School after being notified that a threatening note was found written on a bathroom stall inside of the school. School officials took precautionary measures and evacuated students from the school while law enforcement, K9 and fire department officials began a search of the school and grounds.
The building was cleared at 10:30 a.m. and faculty and students resumed activities.
The sheriff’s department is working with school officials to investigate the threat that was found and will work with the school on additional safety measures such as extra patrols in and around the school. Those who make a false report about placing an explosive device inside of a building commit a level 6 felony, which is punishable up to 2 1/2years imprisonment

Students have been evacuated and officers are currently clearing the school while searching for suspicious objects.
