Indy Scream Park Haunted House Bringing Two Interactive Experiences To 2016 Season
INDIANAPOLIS — Indy Scream Park , the largest haunted house in Indiana, will open its doors Saturday, Sept. 17, for the 2016 season. This year they are featuring a brand-new attraction, Pandemic, as well as redesigns and updates to Zombieland: Apocalypse and Brickmore Asylum. Indy Scream Park is the only haunted house in the Hoosier state with two fully interactive attractions that give visitors the chance to be grabbed and taken from their groups.
Interactive haunts add an extra element of fear, never knowing if the next actor will grab you or just give a cold, menacing stare. Actors can grab visitors’ and take them into separate rooms or hallways leaving their group wondering if they’ll make it out. Visitors have the option to “mark” themselves with glow-in-the-dark necklaces which allows actors to interact them. At any time visitors can take off the necklace if the experience becomes too intense.
Following a record-breaking 2015 season, Indy Scream Park brought in a team of “Scare Consultants” to further escalate the fear factor of each attraction. Based on the science behind what elements induce the greatest sense of fear, each haunted attraction has been upgraded to ensure every customer will experience constant fear throughout every attraction.
Indy Scream Park is focused on providing patrons an unforgettable experience with three indoor and three outdoor haunted house attractions at one location. Conveniently located in the middle of its sprawling 120-acre facility, Indy Scream Park’s Monster Midway gives patrons an outdoor space to enjoy games, fire pits and a full complement of food, beverages and beers. Sun King Brewery is Indy Scream Park’s official local craft beer for the season.
