Kosciusko County Democrats Open Headquarters

Lindsay Malloy, secretary for Kosciusko County Democrats, David Kolbe, Kosciusko County Chairman Lynn Coleman, Democratic candidate for Congress, Dee Moore, Democratic candidate for Indiana State House of Representatives District 18, Matt Colby and Brian Smith, Democratic candidate for Indiana State House of Representatives District 22 were present during the grand opening of the Democratic Headquarters.
WARSAW — The Kosciusko County Democrats held an opening ceremony for their new Warsaw headquarters, located at 212 S. Lake St. on Tuesday evening, Aug. 30.
Candidates for the Democratic ticket were present at the ribbon cutting, including Lynn Coleman, Democratic candidate for Congress, Dee Moore, Democratic candidate for Indiana State House of Representatives District 18 and Brian Smith, Democratic candidate for Indiana State House of Representatives District 22.
The headquarters will remain open throughout the election season from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. during the weekdays. Community members are welcome to stop by to pick up yard signs, brochures and learn more about various Democratic candidates for the 2016 election.
“We are extremely thrilled to be here,” said Lynn Coleman, Democratic candidate for Congress after the ribbon cutting. “It’s important that we have volunteers throughout the district and obviously Warsaw is a part of that.”
The Democratic Headquarters will be hosting phone calling campaigns leading up to the election. Party members also invited the community to attend their next meeting held at the headquarters at 6 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 12. There the party members will discuss more particulars about their campaigning processes and plans.
At the open house, party members hinted to big plans in the future, including participating in debates, reaching out to Latino communities in the area and setting up a city-wide caucus in the future.
