Final Shows For LCS Approaching Quickly
WARSAW — The Lake City Skiers will perform their last two shows of the season on Sunday, Aug. 28, and Sunday, Sept. 4.
The Lake City Skiers won their fourth USAWS Division II National Show Ski Championship this season and are the only competitive show ski team in Indiana. LCS performs about 24 water ski shows each summer and is known for wowing the crowd with their talent on and off the water with all-girl ballet lines, freestyle jump acts and dance routines.
Other acts in the show include extreme wakeboarding, barefoot water skiing, human pyramids and adagio doubles, all set to a family-friendly theme complete with costumes and music. If you haven’t made it out to a show this season, or if you just want to catch one more performance, this will be your last chance in 2016.
The shows are free to the public and concessions are available at the site. Bleacher seating is available or spectators are welcome to bring a lawn chair. The shows are performed at Hidden Lake in Warsaw.
Hidden Lake is located in Warsaw, Indiana at SR 15 and U.S. 30, right behind Smith Tire. For more information about the Lake City Skiers log on to www.lakecityskiers.org or visit Facebook.com/lakecityskiers.
