Rachel E.B. Pelletier
Rachel E.B. Pelletier, 69, Syracuse, passed away at 9:47 a.m. Aug. 6, 2016, at her home. She was born on March 9, 1947, in Nashua, N.H., to Maurice Francis and Beatrice E. (Gaudette) LeBrun.
She graduated in 1965 from St. Louis DeGonzaga High School, Nashua, N.H., and on Aug. 17, 1968, in Nashua, N.H., she married Richard R. “Dick” Pelletier who preceded her on April 8, 2016. She was a homemaker and moved to Syracuse area in 1989 from Richmond, Va.
She was a member of St. Martin DePorres Catholic Church and Wawasee Kiwanis Club, both in Syracuse.
She is survived by two sons: Kenneth (Donna) Pelletier, Claymont, Del.; and Scott (Chrisie) Pelletier, Goshen; as well as six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and brother: Roland LeBrun.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9, at Owen Family Funeral Home, Syracuse. A Kiwanis service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home. Funeral mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 10, at St. Martin DePorres Catholic Church, Syracuse, with Father Andrew Nazareth officiating. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, Warsaw. Private family burial will take place in the Syracuse Cemetery.
Preferred memorials may be given to Syracuse Sports Complex Fund, c/o Wawasee Syracuse Parks Foundation, Syracuse. Envelopes are available at the funeral home and church.
