Cruisin’ Hoosiers Car Show Friday, Aug. 5 In Warsaw
WARSAW — The 26th Annual Cruisin’ Hoosiers Car Truck and Motorcycle Show will take place from 4-8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 5.
The Cruisin’ Hoosiers Car Club and Baker Youth Club will be hosting the car show, in conjunction with First Fridays in downtown Warsaw.
There is no charge for admission or parking. The gates open at 3 p.m. and registration is from 4-6 p.m. The first 125 entrants who pay the $12 entry fee will receive a dash plaque.
A silent auction is from 4-7 p.m. and the event will wrap up with an awards ceremony at 8 p.m.
Prizes will be awarded to: the top 30 pre-1988 cars, the top 20 1989-2016 cars; and the top eight motorcycles.
All proceeds benefit the Baker Youth Club in Warsaw and its many programs throughout Kosciusko County. BYC has been serving the youth of Kosciusko County for over 89 years. It is the mission of BYC to shape an educated, healthy, physical and social identity based on Christian values. BYC works to achieve his mission by providing quality supervision, academic support by certified teachers/teacher aides, and structured daily activities.
BYC is currently providing services to over 300 youth. Satellite clubs are located at: Wawasee Middle School and Syracuse, North Webster and Milford elementary schools.
The car show will take place at the courthouse square in downtown Warsaw. Entertainment, food vendors and many cars, trucks and motorcycles will be on display. BYC will also have a raffle.
