Arkansas Olive Garden Waiter Feeds Customer’s Baby
LITTLE ROCK, ARK. — A photo taken last Thursday of a waiter feeding a customer’s sick child at an Arkansas Olive Garden has gone viral.
Dallas French was exhausted when her family visited a Little Rock, Ark. Olive Garden last Thursday. They had just left the local children’s hospital after her baby daughter’s tests.
She said Baby Elles was hungry, as well, and as Dallas was making her a bottle, the mom spilled it all over herself and the floor. So, she made another bottle.
Their waiter watched the situation unfold as he brought the family their salad and bread sticks.
He then told Dallas to eat and that he would feed baby Elles.
“This melted all of us and this is what we need more of!” Dallas wrote on Olive Garden’s Facebook wall. “He fed her, I ate my salad and bread sticks and that milk on the floor got cleaned up after we left, because he just understood! He didn’t even know what we had went through that day and showed us love and understanding, not irritated that I had made a mess and my baby was screaming.”
Her post to Olive Garden has been shared more than 35,000 times.
