Kids Participate in Zoo Bash

WARSAW — Kids were invited to get out of the heat and make stuffed animals at the Pete Thorn Center today for a Zoo Bash event put on by the Warsaw Parks and Recreational Department.
During the event, kids are able to move to different stations to complete their project. First, kids were able to choose what animal they wanted with choices of an elephant, monkey, bear or giraffes. Then they were able to fill the animals with stuffing with the help of their parents or grandparents.
Kids were then directed to make a wish on a star and put it in the animal. The rest of the event included a coloring page and a snack for the kids.
