MENTONE – Action heated up in the Town & Country League baseball state finals. Teams in 8U, 10U and 12U divisions are in play at sites in Mentone, Frankton and Flora, and elimination rounds began in all three brackets.

Saturday’s knock-out rounds sets up the final four teams for each of the three brackets, which concludes with Championship Monday. The Town & Country League tournaments have been playing throughout the month of July and comprise of youth league teams from around northern Indiana.
