Rinker Boats To Offer First Look At 2017 Models At Open House

In addition to checking out the seven boats on display, visitors to the Rinker Boats open house will be able to tour the factory and learn about the boat making process from research and development to fabrication and testing, with factory workers on hand to answer questions.
Additionally, there will be water demos available Monday through Friday, Aug. 8-12, at Wawasee Slip Marina, which will have Rinker Watersports, the local Rinker dealer, on hand. Interested parties should stop by the Rinker office, 300 W. Chicago St., Syracuse, to set up a time to experience the different models available. (Photo by Sarah Wright)
SYRACUSE — Until Aug. 15, Rinker Boats will be hosting a dealer and public open house from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays, during which the business will showcase its latest designs in the newly re-classed QX Sport Boat and EX Cruiser models.

Visitors to Rinker will get to see the boat making process, including boats that are being built.
After being sold to an investment group 10 years ago, as of October 2015, the Rinker Boat name is back with the management team that originally crafted the infamous brand decades ago and is now looking to create fresh memories with a new generation of boaters worldwide. Having announced its two new series earlier this summer, this will be the first chance the public and Rinker dealers will have to see what new features and options will be included in the new lineups.
“The No. 1 question we get is, ‘What is Rinker up to?,’” said president of Rinker Boats, Kim Slocum. “We plan on showing everyone at this open house the ideas we have been working on during the past year and reinvigorate the iconic brand amongst the communities that first made it a household name.”
During the free open house, attendees can not only expect to get glimpse at new 2017 models, but also learn more about the Rinker value during tours of the facility. Participants will receive a vantage point of the local, hard work and dedication that goes into each crafted vessel.
“We encourage everyone in the community to stop by and see the future of Rinker for themselves,” said Slocum. “I think they will like what they see.”
Every Rinker is built in Syracuse on the shores of Lake Wawasee at 300 W. Chicago Street. For more information on Rinker Boats, call (574) 457-5731 or visit the new website at www.rinkerboats.com.
