Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
5:17 a.m. Thursday, July 14, South Buffalo Street north of Fisher Avenue, Warsaw. Driver: Vickie L. Ramsey, 56, Dausha Court, Warsaw. Ramsey’s vehicle collided with a deer. Damage up to $5,000.
10:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 13, East Patterson Road west of Heritage Lane, Warsaw. Driver: Joseph A. Miner, 19, Wandering Oak, Liberty Hill, Texas. Miner’s vehicle collided with a tree branch, which had fallen in the road as the vehicle approached. Damage up to $2,500.
5:51 p.m. Wednesday, July 13, South Detroit Street south of East Market Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Kenneth B. McIntire, 27, South Merry Estates Drive, Silver Lake, and Jerry A. Deturk, 68, East CR 350N, Warsaw. Traffic became congested and McIntire hit his brakes. His vehicle did not stop in time and rear-ended Deturk’s vehicle. A brake line in McIntire’s vehicle blew and brake fluid was leaking from his vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
2:41 p.m. Wednesday, July 13, East Winona Avenue and South Detroit Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Miguel E. Davila, 23, Meadow Lane, Warsaw, and Jennifer E. Bradley, 35, Tippecanoe Road, Warsaw. Davila stopped his vehicle in the intersection when the light turned red. He attempted to back his vehicle out of the intersection but it collided with Bradley’s vehicle, which had stopped behind his. Davila was issued a citation. Damage up to $2,500.
