Prayer For America To Be Held At 9/11 Memorial In Warsaw
WARSAW — The Greater Warsaw Ministerial Association has called for a time of prayer from noon to 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 14, at the 9/11 Memorial in Center Lake Park (near Center Lake Pavilion) in Warsaw. The time of prayer is called in response to the recent incidents of violence and killing of citizens and police officers in the United States. The prayer time will also include praying for Together 2016 that is going to be held in Washington, DC on Saturday, July 16. Some local groups are heading to the National Mall for that event.
“We are calling on Kosciusko County to be a Matthew 22 community,” notes Pastor John B Lowe II, GWMA President. “The Greatest Commandment is to love God and to love our neighbor. Our only hope in this nation is for each citizen to look within themselves and repent of pushing God out of our lives and not loving others as Jesus taught us.”
Ken Locke, GWMA Director added, “The GWMA has set aside the 2nd Thursday of each month to pray at noon for our Nation, Community and the Church. The location changes each month. We want to take time to pray for law enforcement and the huge task they take on each day to maintain peace and order.”
