Kosciusko

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:

6:23 p.m. Monday, June 27, at East SR 14, west of South CR 400E, Claypool. Drivers: Joshua A. Snyder, 35, South State Street, South Whitley, and Jennifer M. Jones, 32, East State Road, Silver Lake. Snyder drove into the back of Jones’ vehicle. Damage up to $5,000. Jones complained of neck pain and EMS examined her, but she was not transported. Snyder was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:

12:29 p.m. Monday, June 27, at North Cleveland Street, north of Center Street. Drivers: Jeffrey N. Collins, 56, Clay County Highway, Moss, Tenn., and Melanie R. Kernodle, 25, EMS T7 Lane, Leesburg. Collins was driving a semi-tractor and was going to turn right, but was in the “straight/left” lane and claims he did not see anyone in the right lane. Kernodle was in the right lane and Collins’ vehicle struck Kernodle’s. Damage up to $5,000.
