Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
3:07 p.m. Monday, June 20, at 3847 N. CR 150W, Warsaw. Driver: Erick M. Sawyer, 23, South Sherman Street, Warsaw. Sawyer stated when he came over the hill on CR 150S, he lost control of his vehicle and to avoid hitting an oncoming vehicle he over-corrected and left the roadway. When Sawyer left the roadway he drove into a house and struck a gas line. Damage up to $50,000.
4:34 p.m. Saturday, June 18, at South Monroe Drive, south of East CR 600S, Warsaw. Driver: Starr A. Privett, 42, West Corly Lane, Silver Lake. Privett drove off the roadway at a high speed and struck a tree. Damage up to $10,000. Privett was unconscious and had to be extricated from the vehicle. She and three of her passengers were transported for further medical treatment.
6 a.m. Monday, June 20, at West CR 800S, east of Beaver Dam Road, Mentone. Driver: Meredith M. Brouyette, 17, West CR 800S, Claypool. Hit a deer. Damage up to $5,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
12:22 a.m. Wednesday, June 22, at Jalynn Street and Walton Boulevard, Warsaw. Drivers: Delaney L. Glant, 20, North Skyline Drive, Syracuse, and Patrick T. Haab, 35, East Smith Street. Glant drove into the path of Haab’s vehicle. Damage up to $10,000. Haab’s front passenger complained of right elbow pain and head pain and his backseat passenger complained of right collar bone pain and head pain. Both passengers in Haab’s vehicle were transported to Parkview Warsaw Hospital for treatment by Multi-Township Medic 10.
