Celebration Honors Big Brothers And Big Sisters
NORTHERN INDIANA — In honor of their remarkable academic achievements, Big Brothers Big Sisters honors Little Brothers and Little Sisters graduating from high school this spring.
Big Brothers Big Sisters is proud to announce the graduation of over 30 Little Brothers and Little Sisters currently enrolled in its community-based mentoring programs from high schools across northeast Indiana!
Big Brothers Big Sisters hosted a graduation reception from 5:30-7 p.m. Thursday, June 9 in the Cinema Center to congratulate these Little Brothers and Little Sisters on their recent graduation and to provide them with care packages to assist them as they take the next step on the path to success.
Graduates from Kosciusko County include Little Brother Jeremy Himes, who recently received a full-ride scholarship to Grace College.
“Their hard work and dedication to self-improvement is inspiring to all of us at the Agency and we wish our ‘Littles’ well as they begin a new chapter in their lives,” said Big Brothers Big Sisters Executive Director, Josette Rider. “We are ecstatic to report that most of our graduates will continue their education at community colleges and universities including IPFW, University of St. Francis, Indiana State University, Grace College and Ivy Tech. Several of these graduates will be entering the workforce this year and we wish them the best of luck as they begin their careers”.
