Silver Lake Days Parade honors the Red, White and Blue
SILVER LAKE — Silver Lake Days Parade featured a variety of categories of marchers, vehicles and clubs Saturday, June 18. Kosciusko County town police and fire department vehicles led the parade on Main Street.
This year, the theme of the parade was “Hail to the Red, White and Blue.”
Following the police and fire department cars, the Indiana Patriot Guard cruised on their motorcycles. The parade Grand Marshal, Jim Frieden, was escorted on a convertible Ford.

The chosen Cutie Queen, Payton Slaymaker, waved to the spectators as she was driven along with her friends.
Next were the Kosciusko County Shrine Topless Car Club in their convertibles. Some of their cars included Chevrolet Camaros, Audi A5, Ford Mustang and a Mercedec Benz SL-CLass.

Staff and members of Echoes of the Past and the Diamond Lake Conservation Club drove along Silver Lake’s Main Street. The Silver Lake-popular ice cream shop, The Igloo, was presented by staff on a convertible Pontiac.
