Marion Pauline Wenger
Marion Pauline Wenger, 90, Wakarusa, died 8:23 a.m. Friday, June 10, 2016, at her residence. She was born Sept. 28, 1925, in Markham, Ontario, to Carl and Annie (Wideman) Reesor. She married Norman R. Wenger on Oct. 18, 1952, and he died on Oct. 10. 1993.
Surviving are her seven children: Phyllis (Dave) Kulp, New Paris; Herbert (Eileen) Wenger, Union, Mich.; David (Sheryl) Wenger, Marlette, Mich.; Nancy Wenger, Wakarusa; Andrew (Diana) Wenger, Goshen; Douglas (Sally) Wenger, Wakarusa; Patricia (Nathan) Stoltzfus, Honeybrook, Pa.; three brothers: John (Anna) Reesor; Harold (Stella) Reesor; and Kenneth (Esther) Reesor, all of Stouffville, Ontario; four sisters: Marie Brubaker, Elora, Ontario; Evelyn (Art) Byer, Stouffville; Nancy (Owen) Witmer, Columbiana, Ohio; Kathryn Morrison, Stouffville; 33 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Norman R. Wenger; and two brothers: Cecil Reesor; and Elmer Reesor.
She owned and operated FarmWood Bed and Breakfast. Marion was a member of Wisler Mennonite Church, Goshen.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Sunday, June 12, and 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Monday, June 13, at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret-Lienhart Funeral Home, Wakarusa. Service will follow at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 14, at Wisler Mennonite Church, Goshen. Home ministry will officiate and burial will be at Frame Cemetery.
