Public Feedback Wanted For Stellar Community Project Series
WARSAW — The City of Warsaw is bringing 10 Stellar Community projects, two each week, to the public and asking for feedback. These projects are all just ideas at the moment, which means the public’s feedback could be implemented into the future design of the the projects.
The first project in this series is the Argonne Road Streetscape Project. This project concerns Argonne Road and it being the key connection linking Warsaw and Winona Lake. “The project is a transportation project designed to improve safety and access for businesses and travelers, while creating a visually stunning gateway between Warsaw and Winona Lake,” according to the Stellar Connection Facebook page.
The road cannot be rebuilt because it does not meet the standards of safe traffic design. A redesign is in order to make travel safer and more efficient, as well as make it visually appealing and inviting for locals and visitors going between Warsaw and Winona Lake.
To provide feedback for what people would like to see along this project route, contact the City of Warsaw Planning Department office at (574) 372-9550.
