INDIANAPOLIS — The 35-year tradition continues this summer with Marsh Symphony on the Prairie: Celebrated by critics, musicians and fans worldwide, David Bowie sold an estimated 140 million records and produced eleven chart-topping albums in a career that spanned over five decades.

The London-born Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee released his 25th and final album “Blackstar” two days prior to his death on January 10, 2016. Celebrate the life and legacy of David Bowie with the Indiana Symphony Orchestra as the they performs such hits as: “Under Pressure,” “Changes,” “Space Oddity,” “China Girl,” “Heroes,” “Rebel Rebel” and more. (Brent Havens, Conductor; Brody Dolyniuk, Vocalist).

The concert is at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Jun 24 and 25, at Conner Prairie Amphitheatre, 13400 Allisonville Road, Fishers.

Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased the following ways: Discount adult tickets may be purchased at all Indiana Marsh locations for $26 with the presentation of a Marsh Fresh Idea Card. Advance concert tickets may be purchased online at IndianapolisSymphony.org for $27 for adults and $13 for children. Gate prices at the Conner Prairie Amphitheatre are $32 for adults and $15 for children.

SPECIAL CONTEST OPPORTUNITY FOR LOCAL ARTISTS:

Artists are invited to participate in a contest to create the signature poster for this event. The winning poster design will be printed and featured at the show June 24-25, and in advance at Conner Prairie and Hilbert Circle Theatre.

The winning artist will receive a prize of $250, 10 tickets to the summer season, and a table at a show of their choice (based on availability). Artist will retain all rights and ownership in the work. ISO only seeks a limited use rights agreement for the purposes of promoting this show.
