Bone City Falls For First Time [VIDEO]
WARSAW – In its first home bout of the season, a short-handed Bone City Rollers derby squad hosted an also short-handed Floral City outfit. A low-scoring affair had Floral City capture a 143-56 win at Hansen’s Eastlake Skate Center.
Floral City, traveling down from Monroe, Michigan, took a 51-47 lead into halftime, only to take control in the second half with an impressive show in allowing just nine points after the break. Bone City had several of its jammers spending time in the penalty box while Floral City circled around the track.
The loss leaves Bone City 1-1 on the season, looking forward to its next bouts, at Naptown Third Alarm (Indianapolis) on June 18, and at home Aug. 27 against Mitten Mavens.
