Two Injured In Center Street Accident
WARSAW — Two were injured in an accident that took place Saturday, May 14, at the intersection of Center Street and Harrison Street, Warsaw.
James Miller, of Pickford, Mich., stated he was heading east on Center Street, toward the intersection of Harrison and Center. According to the accident report, Miller thought he had a green light and drove through the intersection, striking the left, driver’s side of a vehicle belonging Kristen Shoemaker, of Warsaw.
Shoemaker stated she was heading south on Harrison and had a green light at the intersection. She was making a left turn onto Center street when Miller struck her vehicle, causing the airbags to deploy. Shoemaker had complaints of lower arm pain. There was a minor in Shoemaker’s car who had complaints of lower leg pain. Both were transferred to the hospital by Lutheran EMS.
