Solid Waste Board Discuss Building Maintenance
WARSAW — Building maintenance was the primary point of discussion in the Solid Waste Board meeting on Tuesday, May 17.
Shelley Heckert, the director of the board, stated that she had gotten an estimate on property fixes that would help with water drainage on the west side of the Recycling Depot building, totaling $3,180. The board expressed a desire to get more quotes in order to check out their available options. Bob Conley, a member of the board, made a motion to take the job of collecting quotes for the project, and the motion passed.

- The board went over some minor changes to the employee handbook, and passed a motion to vote on the changes in the next meeting.
- Healthcare benefits and insurance options for employees were also discussed, but the board decided to table the vote until more information on various plans and options could be gathered.
- The tire collection effort of the Kosciusko County Recycling Depot collected 1,100 tires brought to them by 75 people.
