Silver Lake Fire Department To Host Hog Roast
SILVER LAKE — The Silver Lake Volunteer Fire Department will host a hog roast, corn hole tournament and auction fundraiser from 3-6 p.m. Saturday, May 14
The cost is $7 for dine-in or carry-out or $10 by the pound and $5 for kids age 12 and younger.
Registration for the double-elimination corn hole ends at 3 p.m., with play beginning at 3:15 p.m. The cost is $30 per team. First place is 50/50 of the entry fees.
The live and silent auction begins at 4:30 p.m. or after the corn hole tournament has ended. Cash and credit card will be accepted. All bidders must have a number to bid and all sales will be final. The Silver Lake Volunteer Fire Department hopes to raise $4,000 to purchase a radio repeater or to put toward other fire department needs.
Live and silent auction items include, but are not limited to, theme park passes, zoo passes, museum passes, water park passes, restaurant gift certificates, mini golf passes, go-cart passes, autographed sports items, gift items and variety boxes and gift cards and certificates to several area locations.
