Grace Tennis: Fitzpatrick Named To ASA
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Molly Fitzpatrick of the Grace College women’s tennis team, was selected to the NAIA’s Association of Student-Athletes (ASA), released on Thursday.
The ASA is the NAIA’s student-advocacy arm in its governance structure. The ASA is represented at the NAIA National Convention and has the ability to create policies and sponsor legislation at the national level.
Fitzpatrick is the sole representative from the Crossroads League. She is also the only women’s tennis player on the ASA. Her term will run through 2017-18.
Fitzpatrick is a freshman from Mooresville, Ind.
The ASA members are selected from a pool of nominees forwarded to the National Office by each conference. Each conference and each NAIA championship sport is represented on the ASA.
