Jean Marie Kindig
Jean Marie Kindig, 75, passed away at 1:33 a.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at Kosciusko Community Hospital.
She was born on Oct. 21, 1940, in Fenton, Mich., to Edward and Mary (Swerdan) Youngs. She attended Fenton, Mich., schools, and married Ronnie Kindig, Mentone, on June 2, 1961, in Fort Myers, Fla. She was a Warsaw area resident for the last 40 years.
Jean enjoyed karaoke, euchre, and shuffleboard. She was a kind and giving person who was always willing to help others. She was a member of the Moose Lodge and the VFW.
She is survived by six children: Tina (Nat) Miller, Claypool; Andy Kindig, Claypool; Judy Baker, Warsaw; Steve (Susan) Kindig, Warsaw; Roy Kindig, Claypool; and Eddie (Karey) Kindig, Warsaw; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and sister: Nancy Bryant, Fort Myers, Fla. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Ronnie Kindig, in Dec. 2008; second husband: George Wright, in Dec. 2012; and brother: Clarence Youngs, in July 2008.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 16, at Community Life Center, Warsaw, officiated by Dr. Dan Cox.
