MILFORD – Milford Kiwanis will be hosting the second running of 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, May 7. The course begins and ends at Waubee Lake Park just southeast of Milford.

The raceway is mostly flat with a few rolling hills and will take runners along the beautiful spring scenery of Waubee Lake and Camp Mack. Check-in is at 8 a.m. and the race starts at 9 a.m.  Registration is now open on runsignup.com for $20 until May 3.

Registration on race day is $25. Participants who sign-up before Thursday, April 28, are guaranteed a race shirt the day of the race. Age group awards will be handed out after the race.

Profits from this race will help Milford Kiwanis support community projects; such as, Riley Children’s Hospital, Boomerang Backpack, Harvest with a Heart, New Beginnings Daycare and many more.
