Amazing Turnout For The 2016 KREMC Annual Meeting
WARSAW — A crowd of nearly 2000 Kosciusko REMC members and their families filled Warsaw Community Church on Saturday, April 16, for the electric cooperative’s 77th Annual Meeting. The primary item on the agenda was the election of directors. Kim Buhrt and Pam Messmore were re-elected. John Hand won the seat left open by retiring director, Fred Powell.
KREMC board chairman, William Stump Jr. started the business meeting by giving special recognition to our country’s veterans. KREMC president and CEO, Bruce Goslee, gave tribute to the members, directors and employees who have helped shape Kosciusko REMC into the successful electric cooperative that is it today.
Members had the opportunity to hear special speaker, Craig MacFarlane, speak about rising above life’s challenges.
The children’s program featured “Jedi Training” and “Princess Story Time” conducted by Tag Art out of Fort Wayne.
“I always appreciate the great number of members who attended the annual meeting. We simply could not move forward without them. Their voice was heard today and I’m looking forward to what is in store for KREMC,” said Goslee.
