Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:

2:40 a.m. Friday, April 8, West CR 500S east of South SR 19, Mentone. Driver: Landin D. Madsen, 19, South CR 550W, Warsaw. Madsen accelerated suddenly and lost control of his vehicle, which went off hte road and overturned. A passenger noted Madsen had consumed alcohol prior to driving. Madsen complained of chest pain. A passenger in Madsen’s vehicle, Zachary J. Wiesehan, 20, South CR 1000W, Mentone, complained of shoulder/upper arm pain. Damage up to $25,000.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:

5:25 p.m. Thursday, April 7, North Detroit Street and Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Drivers: Cody M. Kline, 20, Woodcliff Drive, Warsaw, and Linda S. Sipes, 66, Juniper Road, Argos. Kline missed the temporary stop and his vehicle collided with Sipes’s vehicle in the intersection. Both drivers complained of minor bleeding to the face. Damage up to $50,000.

3:30 p.m. Thursday, April 7, East Center Street and North McKinley Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Teresa A. Croussore, 49, South West Point Drive, Warsaw, and Steven J. White, 30, North Whitley Street, Columbia City. Croussore proceeded through the intersection and her vehicle collided with White’s oncoming vehicle. White complained of pain to his right arm but refused medical transport. Damage up to $50,000.
